Nebelung Description

Nebelung's have a large, muscular body, long legs and a long, plumed tail. The flowing coat is blue tipped with silver, and the eyes are emerald green. This breed resembles a longhaired Russian Blue.

Nebelung History

The first registered Nebelung's were Siegfried and Brunhilde, who produced their first litter in 1986. This is still a rare breed, but at least three unrelated breeding lines of Nebelung's exist.

Nebelung Traits

This breed is intelligent. They are shy, and will do best in homes with small children if introduced as kittens.
