Russian Blue History
The original Russian was a Tabby. These are still available, but only registrable in SA. Russian Blacks and Whites are also available in Australia. The Russian Blue is a natural Breed not created by man, having evolved in the Arctic or Semi-arctic Forests of Northern Russia. This is the origin of their densely plush double coat to insulate and to repel water, snow and dirt.
